Our opinions
Always remember than everyone has a different nose and a different palate. While there are certain consistencies within a certain bourbon, whiskey or spirit, different reviewers will describe different scents and flavors. There is no right or wrong. Everyone likes different things. Just be honest with yourself. Don’t fake it. Don’t make something up. It you taste it, say it! No one will laugh at you. Sometimes, you may not be sure. You just like it. That’s OK, though we encourage you to expand your sensory training. Open your spice drawer. Take out a variety of fruits and grains. Grab some different types of sweeteners. Sample them and then taste the bourbon again. You’ll be surprised at how many flavors you can taste in the bourbon. We only ask one thing, that you enjoy the tasting. Bourbon Roxx is for you!

All of the reviews and their contents belong exclusively to Bourbon Roxx. At this point in time, we are not monetized and we are not sponsored. Our host is a self-employed entrepreneur in a private professional practice. He still works full time, and he considers Bourbon Roxx a hobby. In other words, we currently make no money on this site. Therefore, we exhibit no inherent bias. Of course, there are certain distilleries that we consider our favorites, but our opinions are not based on financial compensation. If and when Bourbon Roxx ever becomes a money making venture, we promise to disclose any financial compensation that we receive. In no way do we want a monetary profit to influence our reviews.
